By Rail

The Jubilee Line is recommended as the quickest route towards ExCeL and ICC London from Central London.

Alight at Canning Town to change onto the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) bound for Beckton (use stairs, escalators or lift up to the DLR platform). DLR trains toward the venue normally depart from platform 3.

Visitors should be aware that only DLR trains in the direction of Beckton serve ExCeL London – do not use DLR services in the direction of Woolwich Arsenal from Canning Town.

Visitors for ExCeL London are advised to alight at Custom House. If specifically attending an event in the ICC Auditorium, Capital Suite or Capital Hall, please alight at Prince Regent.

Please refer to specific joining instructions and web information for the event you are attending to ensure you alight at the most convenient on site station.

Public bus services 147 and 241 depart from bay B of Canning Town station to Custom House (access to the venue is via the DLR footbridge).

Additionally, a fully signposted walking route is provided from the main exit of Canning Town bus station for anyone who wishes to complete their journey to the venue by foot.

Blue directional signs guide you to the main west entrance of ExCeL London. The walk takes approximately 12-15 minutes.

ExCeL London and ICC London are located in zone 3. London Underground tickets are valid on the DLR. It is recommended to purchase a return ticket or All-Day Travelcard to avoid queuing on your journey home.

Single, return and Travelcard tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines at Custom House and Prince Regent Stations. These machines are also enabled for Oystercard ‘Pay As You Go’ top up.

Oystercard users are reminded to touch in and out at the card readers at DLR stations to avoid paying excess fares.

Eurostar

There is easy access to St Pancras International for high-speed Eurostar Services to Paris, Lille and Brussels.

By Road

When driving to ExCeL London follow signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and ExCeL. There is easy access from the M25, M11, A406 and A13.

The venue is located outside the Congestion Charge Zone but is included in the Low Emission Zone.

The Low Emission zone seeks to improve the air quality in the city by deterring the most polluting vehicles from driving in the area.

Cycling to ExCeL London?

We welcome those who choose to cycle to ExCeL and provide secure, CCTV monitored cycle parking racks both in our west entrance taxi drop off area and outside the main east entrance (subject to the area reopening in May 2010).

By Air

ExCeL London is easy to get to from London’s five main airports – London City, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton – via Docklands Light Railway (DLR), underground and mainline rail services.

Located 5-minutes from ExCeL London, by car or taxi, London City Airport offers direct access to over 30 European & UK destinations, with 350 flights per day.

Additionally, connect to ExCeL London by taking the DLR from the airport in the direction of Bank. Change at Canning Town onto a DLR service bound for Beckton.
