 FAQ ( Frequently Asked Questions )This section will hopefully help answer most of the common questions that we receive. If you do not find the information you require then please go to the contact us section. *Where is the show? Excel, Royal Victoria Docks, London, E16 1XL, UK. TICKETS: *How much are the tickets? General Entry Tickets: Adults (15 & above):£10 per day Children (11 to 14):£5 per day. Kids (10 years old & below): FREE (limited to 2 FREE children per full paying adult) Early Bird Entry Tickets: £12 per day. *What are the difference between the tickets? 'GENERAL' Entry Tickets are available at the door each day and can not be purchased in advance! These allow you entry to the London MCM Expo between 11am & 6pm on Saturday & 11am to 5pm on Sunday. 'EARLY ENTRY' Tickets are available in advance and allow you entry to the London MCM Expo from 9am on Saturday & 10am on Sunday, allowing entry up to 1 to 2 hours early each day. This enables you to buy your items early and have a look around before the 'Normal Ticket' Entry, 'Fast Track' entry tickets are also available at the door both days of the event. Please note that if you book a 'Early Entry' ticket in advance you will gain entry before anyone who purchases a 'Fast Track' ticket on the days of the show. *Where can I buy tickets? 'GENERAL' daily entry tickets are ONLY available at the door each day Adults (15 years & above):£10 Children (11 to 14):£5 per day (Normal entry tickets are not available in advance) 'EARLY ENTRY' tickets allow you entry to the show up to betweem 1 to 2 hours before normal opening times, these are bookable in advance or at the door each day. Booking online through the London Expo website: Click the ticket link on the menu to the left. You can pay by Credit or Debit Card. Booking over the telephone, please call (UK) 0870 330 7446. Paying by Cheque or Postal Order (We do not accept Eurocheques or International Money Orders) Make Cheques & Postal Orders payable to: LONDON EXPO Send them together with a letter enclosing your Full Name, Full Home Address, Home Telephone Number including dialing code, Mobile/Cellphone number, Email Address and a Stamped Self Addressed Envelope and also what days you are booking for. To: London Expo (WS), PO Box 38727, London, E10 7YH, UK. *I have booked an 'Early Entry Ticket', or any other ticket when will I receive them? All tickets are dispatched through the mail starting 14 days before the event. If you have not received them at least 7 days before the show please contact us. *I am unable to attend the event, can you refund my ticket or transfer it? Sorry we are unable to offer any refunds or transfer tickets under ANY circumstances, this is a strict company policy. Food & Refreshments *Will food and drink be available? Excel has excellent refreshment facilities including licensed bars, sandwich shops, sweet shops, cafes and restaraunts. Hotels & Accomodation *Are there hotels nearby? Yes there are many hotels both on the Excel Centre and the surounding area ranging from £29 per night per room per night and up. Information on hotels can be found by clicking on the Hotels link in the menu. Disabled Access *I am in a wheelchair or have a physical disability will that be a problem? Excel is a modern convention centre with the facilities to match! There is ramp access along with lifts where needed also we have a dedicated 'Disability Services' section who can also answer your questions, information on this can be found in the menu to the left or at the show. Cash machine/ATM Facilities *Are there cash machines or ATM's near by so that I can get money? Yes there are actually cash machines inside Excel where you will be able to obtain money, so there is no need to leave the venue. Parking *Is there parking at the venue? Yes Excel has parking for 1000's of vehicles on site, either in the NCP multi storey car parks or in there own open car parks, cost is dependent on how long you stay. Autographs *Will the guests be charging to autograph items? Yes all guests will be charging to autograph items, the costs are set by the guest personally and notified on the guest pages a few weeks before the event, as a general rule autographs range between £15 to £20 each. *Can we get photographs of the guests in the various characters that they have played ? Yes all of the guests have there own photographs which are given to you free if you purchase an autograph on them. *Are the guests signing autographs both days? Yes all of the guests are signing both days unless stated otherwise on the guest information page. *What times will the guests be signing? Guests will be signing through out the day, but confirmed times will not be available until the day. Photography *Are there going to be any organised photograph sessions at the London MCM Expo? Yes we will be organising an 'OFFICIAL PHOTO WITH THE STARS' photograph session where you will be able to have your photograph taken with the star of your choice, the photographs are returned to you in most cases the same day for you to have signed (extra cost), they are 10x8 in size.. *Can I have my photograph taken with the actors whilst they are signing? Only If time permits and the guest agrees, certain guests do not allow posed photographs, this is their right to refuse. Due to the number of people expected at the show we can not guarantee that you will be able to have personal photographs taken with the guests unless they are done in the 'OFFICIAL PHOTO WITH THE STARS' photograph sessions! |
