MCM Fringe Festival

MCM Fringe Festival

MCM FRINGE FESTIVAL
After many requests and hours of deliberation, MCM Expo is very happy to announce the launch of the ‘MCM FRINGE FESTIVAL’.

Throughout the weekend of Expo many activities take place not only inside the show but outside as well.

The ‘MCM FRINGE FESTIVAL’ will combine the many activities that are already organised outside by the growing ‘MCM COMMUNITY of fans along with some great activities we have planned.

The activities outside are organised by fans and they will continue to be, we offer a chance for fans to promote their activities outside on the ‘MCM FRINGE FESTIVAL’ page so others who might like to take part will know where and when they will be taking place and who the contact is.

If you are organising an activity outside the main show it needs to be registered as part of the ‘MCM FRINGE FESTIVAL’ and it will remain your activity (everyone taking part needs to have a valid wristband), this is a FREE service and one that is there to help you.

Please email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for further information on how to register your activity.

Totally Cosplay

Totally Cosplay MCM Expo

Cosplay@Expo
The Cosplay Desk is a popular part of the ‘MCM Expo’ events, providing cosplayers with supplies for repairing costumes, storage, and of course assistance with the Masquerade. As the focus for Cosplay, it is also a great place for cosplayers to meet up! There is only so much that can be done with a desk though. So after feedback from cosplayers, attendees and the growing ‘MCM COMMUNITY’, ‘MCM Expo’ has launched a completely dedicated area encompassing the ‘Cosplay Desk’ and that area is...

Totally Cosplay
Whether you are a casual cosplayer looking for games and activities or more into the 'serious business' side of the hobby the Totally Cosplay area will give you what you need. A major addition is a dedicated ‘Totally Cosplay’ stage where you will find panels, games, performances, Japanese and Lolita fashion costume parades, and maybe (if you're well behaved) some dancing. The area will also host workshops and costume displays as well as being a great place to chat with other cosplayers. Want a good spot for a photograph? Pop on by, and see what we can offer.

Come along and enjoy ’Totally Cosplay’, which is sure to be a busy, varied and exciting addition to both the shows and the ‘MCM COMMUNITY’.

The term cosplay is derived from the words ‘costume’ and ‘play’ and most commonly refers to dressing up as characters from Anime, Manga, and Video games. Many people all over the world enjoy this colourful and creative hobby, some just like dressing up as their favourite characters while others go the whole hog and make their own fantastic costumes."
