MCM Expo Goes North

At last, an MCM Expo for the North! The organisers of the London MCM Expo, the UK’s top entertainment event and Europe’s answer to the San Diego Comic Con, have announced that they will be launching a Manchester MCM Expo in July 2011.

Taking place on 30 July 2011 at Manchester Central – an award-winning, newly-refurbished exhibition venue in the heart of the city of Manchester – the Manchester MCM Expo will give visitors the chance to meet and have autographs signed by their favourite movie stars, TV personalities and sporting heroes.

In addition, visitors to the new show can look forward to a wide range of fun-packed attractions, from the latest videogames to top comic artists to family entertainment… not to mention a host of memorabilia stalls and exhibitors.

The Manchester Expo will also showcase features that have helped made its London counterpart so distinctive, including a manga art competition and Totally Cosplay, a spectacular celebration of popular Japanese and Western characters in costume!
